For over twenty-five years, John Pescio has felt a call upon his life to help others connect with the heart of God. Whether through worship leading, mentoring, teaching, or coaching, he has a passion to see people grow in their intimacy with Christ and their understanding of His heart for them.
John spent 18 years as a staff member with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ), training and equipping missionaries for a lifetime of ministry. During his time with Cru, he served as the Staff Development Director for Keynote, Cru’s music and creative arts division. He developed ministry training curriculum, mentored staff, and coached missionaries in spiritual development, communication skills, and music theory.
In 2008 he founded Tidewind Ministries, an organization that seeks to help people pursue intimacy with God and dependence on Him. “In God’s presence, everything changes,” John often says. “Just as Isaiah experienced (Isaiah 6), when we enter God’s presence we begin to understand our desperate need for Him and are able to discern His call for our lives.” Currently John leads worship for Tidewind (www.tidewind.org) in the Indianapolis area. He also meets with a number of men for mentoring and peer counseling.
John and his wife Andorra live in central Indiana with their 3 children: James, William, and Anna.
